The Red Lion Inn near Holfirth, West Yorkshire     The Red Lion Inn
                       A home-from-home experience with old-fashioned hospitality

The bar - fine wine and good ales.

As you expect from an Inn - the bar is very much at heart of the establishment. The regulars are friendly and are happy to exchange anecdotes with visitors, as well as give advice on the best places to visit locally.

Landlord, Mike Cox, is passionate about beer, not just consuming England's unique ales, but keeping them to highest standards. The Red Lion also offers a fine selection of wines from across the world.

In addition to three regular cask conditioned ales, Caledonian Brewery's award winning Deuchars, Greene King IPA and Tetley's Best Bitter,  two guest beers per week will temp the taste-buds of real-ale lovers.

Tetley's Best Bitter                Caledonian Brewery's award winning Deuchers - Voted Britain's best beer 2002-2003

As the nights draw in the ambience is enhanced by a real fire and dining by candlelight.
